Motels

Motel is a lodging category rarely used in Greece as a distinct business type -- most Greek roadside and highway accommodation brands itself as a hotel or as rooms to let, rather than as a motel in the North American sense. Genuine, independently verifiable motel-branded businesses are correspondingly few, concentrated at highway junctions rather than in resort towns or on the islands.
